Thought-Provoking Curriculum
This is not a slowed down version of traditional schooling. There are no reduced expectations. Our college-prep curriculum challenges students, and our school is accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools. Our curriculum encompasses all of the academic subjects as well as physical education, art, music, technology, and drama productions. Laptop technology is integrated in the middle and upper schools, and throughout the school there are relevant field trips, interactive discussions, and productive fun on a daily basis.

What really sets us apart is our approach. Through close collaboration with parents, medical and educational specialists, and with the guidance of consistent evaluations that keep both student and teacher on track, we develop a customized learning plan that is designed to help your child achieve his academic goals. Supplemental materials and unique scheduling arrangements have been carefully researched to match a wide variety of learning styles. Tampa Day teaches much of the same material as traditional schools, but in ways that really hit home with students. Unlike a traditional school, throughout the curriculum there’s an emphasis on daily planning, strategies to improve organizational and study skills, homework management, and guided support for long-term projects. It’s this difference that allows children who have previously not been successful in a traditional school environment to now achieve success daily, while still in a school environment.
