This summer, would you like for your child to: Learn to make and keep new
friends? Enhance their self-confidence? Learn to handle conflicts peacefully?
Discover talents? Continue academic progress?
This exciting six-week (6) summer camp, grades K-6th, is designed to
focus on the strengths of children with ADHD and other Learning
Differences. A highly structured, positive
approach employs goal setting, recreation activities, arts and crafts, academic
remediation/maintenance, hands-on Science labs, use of the computer lab and weekly
field-trips. Small groups (1 to 6: staff to student ratio) promote creativity and
personal achievement. Kids have fun while they learn to assume responsibility for
their behavior. Campers are recommended to attend for a minimum of two (2) weeks.
Fieldtrips include: rock climbing, bowling, trip to MOSI, trip to the
Aquarium, trip to Tampa Museum of Art, trip to Lowry Park, roller skating, tour of local
radio station, tour of animal shelter, and trips to the movies.
The weeks are as follows: June 16-20, June 23-27, June 30-July 2 (3 day
week), July 7-11, July 14-18, and July 21-24 (4 day week).
Camp Hours: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM; Before-Care 7:30-9:00 AM; After-Care 3:00-5:00 PM;
EXTENDED DAY-CARE for the entire week is $100
CAMP COST: Kindergarten through 6th graders--> $175 per
week; $100 Non-refundable Registration Fee that is applied towards
your balance.
