7:30 - 9:00 a.m. | Arrival and Pre-Care
9:00 - 9:20 a.m. | Goal Setting
We’ll start the day by setting a personal goal for the week. It can be something we want to achieve at camp, home or school.
9:20 - 9:30 a.m. | Day Review
We'll go over the day's itinerary, leaving no surprises as what to expect the rest of the day.
9:30 - 10:30 a.m. | Brain Power Hour
Time to engage our brains, and have a blast doing it! Between playing language arts Jeopardy, reading and discussing theme-related stories, completing crossword puzzles, and tackling math challenges, we’ll hardly even notice we’re actually learning a thing or two!
10:30 - 11:15 a.m. | Technology
Using our tech savvy, we’ll investigate different topics related to our weekly theme.
11:15 - 11:30 a.m. | Snack Time
We’ll take the time to munch on some healthy snacks and maybe even make some ourselves! Discussions of proper nutrition and health will be a part of this time.
11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. | Arts and Crafts
Let’s take our creativity to the next level as we create projects to accompany our themes. Anything is possible during this period!
12:15 - 12:30 p.m. | Minute to Win It
We love a little friendly (and funny) competition! An example of a game we might play is racing to see how many cotton balls we can move from one bowl to another in a minute. The catch? We’ll have to stick them to our noses—no hands allowed!
12:30 - 12:50 p.m. | Lunch
After an exciting game of “Minute to Win It,” we’ll need to refuel with lunch.
12:50 - 1:15 p.m. | Recess
25 minutes of free time to hang out with our fellow campers: what could be better than that? Games of basketball, soccer, Ultimate Frisbee and tetherball make for a fun way to release all of our pent-up energy!
1:15 - 1:45 p.m. | Science or Book Club
We'll wind back down after recess by delving into the mysteries of science or relaxing with a good book.
1:45 - 2:15 p.m. | Music Appreciation
Listen as we explore the different type of music related to our theme and how it relates to our theme. What produces the different sounds we are hearing?
2:15 - 2:45 p.m. | Sports
We'll play a variety of different team sports during this time. These 30-minutes are designed to keep us active and teach us the importance of being part of a team.
2:45 - 3:00 p.m. | Wrap Up
We’ll spend time checking on the progress of our goals for the day or week. We’ll also take a moment to review how the day went and discuss which activities we enjoyed and which ones we did not enjoy.
3:00 - 5:30 p.m. | After Care
