The premier K-8 school in Tampa for children who learn differently.

Tampa Day School is an independent school located in the Citrus Park area of Tampa, Florida. Our program is ideal for students with mild to moderate learning disabilities, dyslexia, and/or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). We serve students entering kindergarten through eighth grade who have a need for a low teacher-to-pupil ratio, direct and explicit instruction, multisensory learning experiences, assistance with organization, and a higher rate of individualized attention than is typically afforded in more traditional settings.

This is not a slowed down version of traditional schooling. There are no reduced expectations. Tampa Day’s program is accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS), and emphasizes individualized instruction. Supplemental materials and unique scheduling arrangements have been carefully researched to match a wide variety of learning styles. Tampa Day teaches much of the same material as traditional schools, but in ways that really hit home with students.
