TDS After School

Services include 1:1 tutoring in all areas, coaching in study skills, an After School Homework Club and a comprehensive After School Program offering special clubs and recreational activities. Designed for our own students and those from neighboring schools, this program offers structured homework assistance with a TDS teacher and recreational activities with a 1:12 staff to student ratio.

Mini-courses

The Tampa Day School offers these 6-week mini courses:

• SOS - Study & Organizational Skills
  • Includes an intensive workshop to help students learn the basics of good study habits and ways to organize. Students walk away with a greater confidence and the tools to help them succeed. 
• Test Preparation, including SSAT specific courses
  • Lets the student have direct experience with test material, test taking skills, and other ways to make sure that they succeed on Test Day
• Developmental Writing, including Florida Writes preparation
  • Students work with teachers to improve their writing skills using TDS methods. Students will walk away prepared for their academics, and specifically for the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (formerly called "Florida Writes!")
