Admissions Overview

Welcome to Tampa Day School

Tampa Day School is an independent school located in the Citrus Park area of Tampa, Florida. Our program is ideal for students with mild to moderate learning disabilities, dyslexia, and/or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). We serve students entering kindergarten through 8th grade with a need for a low teacher-to-pupil ratio, direct and explicit instruction, multi-sensory learning experiences, assistance with organization, and individualized attention. Our admissions process is designed to promote the selection of candidates most likely to succeed in our program.

We are passionate about our program and always welcome the opportunity to share it with others. We encourage interested parents and professionals to further explore the school through one or more of the following:

Non-Discriminatory Policy
Tampa Day School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, creed, national or ethnic origin, physical disability, or sexual orientation in the administration of its admission, hiring, educational policies, clubs, or other school-administered programs.

I am glad that I came to Tampa Day School. I have been here 4 years. The teachers are great and you have fun while you are learning, like going to Washington. You get all the friends and you get to know all the teachers and parents. I have gotten to know all the kids here and I have made some really good friends.
