In addition to our school program, TDS offers a full range of educational resources including after school programs, tutoring, summer courses and camp. All designed to meet your child's needs.
READING CLINIC:
Is your child reading below grade level despite numerous attempts and approaches by you and the teachers? Many students have deficits in one or more of the complex processes that produce a good reader.
TYPES OF READING PROBLEMS:
Difficulty decoding words, guesses a lot
Does not recognize the phonemic patterns in words (i.e., rat, fat, sat), but has to sound out each time
Reads accurately, but doesn't understand material
Reads haltingly, lacking fluency and speed
Once diagnostic testing determines which of these processes are keeping your child from being a strong, confident reader, the Reading Clinic provides your child with an individually designed program of remediation.

Designed for our own students and those from neighboring schools, this program offers structured homework assistance with a TDS teacher and recreational activities with a 1:12 staff to student ratio.Learning Curve Tutoring
