Visitor Information
If you are visiting from out-of-town, we are located just minutes away from the Tampa International Airport, 15 minutes from Busch Gardens & The Lowry Park Zoo, 30 minutes from Gulf Beaches, and less than 90 minutes from Orlando (Disney, Sea World, Epcot). We have easy access to the Veterans Expressway, are located near one of the largest shopping malls (Citrus Park Mall) in Tampa, and are surrounded by a variety of restraunts.While the majority of our families reside in Tampa (Carrollwood, New Tampa, South Tampa, Lutz, West Chase), a number of our students live in surrounding areas such as Clearwater, Palm Harbor, Pasco County, Brandon, and St. Petersburg. We offer bus service from specific areas in South Tampa and Pasco County.*

When I came to TDS, I liked the fact that the school had small classes. The school slowly eased me in so that I became comfortable and could enjoy school again. The teachers are caring and give each student the attention they need. The teachers help the children learn individually and in groups. It is easy to get to know classmates and make friends when you are in smaller classes.
